Eid Stained Glass Candle Holder

09 Nov

Insya-Allah this an extension of the stained glass craft we did previously. The instructions are in this post. This time I inserted them into some CD jewel cases to create a tea light candle holder. Detailed instructions of making this is at Apartment Therapy.

You can access the design template I used for this project here Eid Stained Glass Template CD.

Using the CD instruction sheets that comes with the case, make a template on a black card stock.

Make frames so as to show the design through. Mount stained glass pieces onto the card stock frame using sticky tape or hot glue. You can opt not to even make a frame for the square designs. Then you will just have to cut them to size to fit the CD case.

Carefully insert the stained glass frames into slots in the CD case. Repeat with the second CD case. Attached the two cases using hot glue. I used electrician tape to tape off the top of the case as well.

Alhamdulillah our end result. This would be a beautiful centre piece for Eid Insya-Alah.

NOTE: Please use a battery operated tea light as the inside of the case is of completely flammable material.
